Silk print for artist Pit Ruge
Pit Ruge approached us before he left for the USA to ask if we had any suitable material for his art installation at a well-known festival in Nevada.
For the artist Pit Ruge, the textile character and the lightness of the material in connection with wind and movement were particularly important.
Together we decided to print his airy impressions on silk.
Why silk?
Silk because it shows the full range of colours on both sides of the print, i.e. it is visible from both sides.
Due to the strong and even winds, silk unfolds an interesting drape which flutters animatedly in the wind.
As a small thank you, Pit sent us these expressive pictures.
