Pressing for artists Pit Ruge
Pit Ruge contacted us before his departure to the USA to see if we had any suitable fabric for his art installation at a well-known festival in Nevada.
For the artist Pit Ruge, the textile character and the lightness of the material were especially important in connection with wind and movement.
Together we decided to create airy silk impressions of it. print.
Why silk?
Silk is so because it shows the full range of colors on both sides in the printing process, so it is visible on both sides in a sense.
Due to the strong and uniform winds, silk develops an interesting fold that flutters in the wind.
As a small thank-you, Pit has sent us these expressive images.
