Stadium seats printed with slogans: advertising space with millions of viewers
Unlike traditional banner advertising, the patch is placed directly over the seat shell and is therefore continuously visible throughout the entire game – both for the spectators in the opposing stands and for the camera shots of the TV broadcast. This makes this form of advertising particularly efficient in terms of cost.
Clubs also use printed seat covers to create a uniform sea of flags or club patterns during choreography, which visually unites the fan section and sends a strong visual statement in club colors.
Advantages for sponsors and clubs
For sponsors, the advantage of a permanent, weather-independent presence throughout the season arises, without the need to install new advertising materials for each game. The poles are assembled once and remain fixed in the stadium.
From an organizational perspective, the concept is also attractive: a uniform design across thousands of seats can be economically realized in series production, with each assembly being precisely tailored to the existing seat shell.
Technical implementation and assembly
Resistant, UV-resistant materials are used that can withstand the sun, rain, and mechanical stress caused by prolonged use of the seat over the years without damage. The attachment is usually achieved through durable eyelets, cord ties, or Velcro solutions, depending on the existing seat shell design.
Created before mass production PhotoFabrics a sample to be released so that the fit and color reproduction exactly meet expectations before the entire stand is completed.
For stadium operators, it is also recommended to combine it with printed stage sets or press walls for the VIP and press room to achieve a consistent appearance throughout the stadium.
