New backlit fabric impresses with contrast and saturation
The new Speedy Hybrid printing material from the Krefeld-based manufacturer KREA Technische Textilien impresses with its special brightness of the colors. The material was developed for use in light boxes and can be printed with latex or sublimation inks in digital printing. The printing service provider Photofabrics From Ludwigsburg, the material has already been put into use and is very pleased: „With Speedy Hybrid, we achieve incredibly beautiful printing results in digital printing with 1,440 dpi. The special feature is the enormous increase in contrast and color saturation achieved through double ink application. The intensity of the colors under good lighting in fluorescent boxes is impressive,“ says Peter Sapper, Managing Director of Photofabrics. The manufacturer KREA supplies the printing material in widths of 160, 260 and 320 cm; the roll length is approximately 100 m. The material with a grammage of 190 grams per square meter can be cut cold.
